San Diego Jewish World review

I love this review of MY HANUKKAH BOOK OF OPPPOSITES by the San Diego Jewish World review!

“Can you imagine an entire book in 12 words, not including the title? That last sentence took one more word than that. Yet a 12-word book was the successful collaboration of  author Tammar Stein and artist Juliana Perdomo…Will the little ones in your life enjoy reading this book over and over? I think they will.” — Donald H. Harrison, editor of San Diego Jewish World

My Hanukkah Book of Opposites--Cover reveal!

Here is my newest, littlest, book baby! My Hanukkah Book of Opposites will be published in November by PJ Publishing. The very talented Juliana Perdomo illustrated the book and it’s full of her vibrant colors and playful illustrations. (How many opposites can you spot on the cover? I count 4.)

Not including the title and byline, My Hanukkah Book of Opposites has 12 words. You can laugh, but that represents 10 MONTHS of editing and nearly a year of concept developement. Picutre books are NO JOKE. The simplest, most obvious idea might actually take years of polishing to achieve.

So I’m just thrilled with this little book baby of mine and I can hardly wait to see enjoyed in chubby little hands.

Editors' Choice for Beni’s War from The Historical Novel Society!

What a lovely review from The Historical Novel Society for Beni’s War.

“Stein’s story is not a coming-of-age story; it is a coming-together story. Enemies, friends, family, and strangers cooperate to protect human life. Beni learns that love and hope are stronger than fear and grief. I highly recommend this novel for middle-grade readers or anyone who longs for a deep sense of community.”
